The available trim levels will include top-line SL, mid-level S, 1.6, and 1.6 Base. The 1.6 versions are available as sedans only. These versions will be designed with a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine for generating 107 horsepower. Both SL and S trims are available in hatchback or sedan body styles and use a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine for 122 horsepower. The engines of 1.6 versions are connected to 5-speed manual transmission. The trim S will be designed with a 6-speed manual transmission. Both S and 1.6 versions have optional 4-speed automatic transmission, whereas this is traditional on the SL sedan. The hatchback SL trim comes standard with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which behaves just like an automatic transmission.
