Mazda RX-8 Spirit R Special Edition - Mazda Motor Corporation has introduced the RX-8 SPIRIT R. This version is a special edition, the RX 4-doors, 4-seats, and particularly a rotary engine. Mazda RX-8 Spirit R using a base RX-8 Type RS (8-speed manual transmission) and Type E (6-speed automatic transmission is controlled electronically). For the body color, a variety of options available, aluminum metallic, black mica and sparkling crystal white pearl mica.
This special edition is the last production of the Mazda RX-8 which will be discontinued at the end of June 2012. Mazda hopes to sell about 1,000 units of this edition.

This car is fitted with a special SPIRIT R logo, headlights, fog lamps and rear combination with a black bezel. Front and rear brake calipers are also painted red.
