Ford has launched a new car with the specification formula, Formula Ford 2012 and has been shown to visitors at the Frankfurt Motor show 2011. The new generation of Formula Ford cars will use a production-based 1.6-liter Ford EcoBoost direct injection, turbocharged engine, limited to produce around 165PS and 220nm, and mated with 6-speed sequential transmission with mechanical shift mechanism.
