Suzuki G70 Concep


CAR GARAGE | Suzuki G70 Concept | The G70 previews Suzuki's global future compact car, the which Might take the place of the Swift in the car maker's model line-up. The Suzuki G70 weighs just 730kg thanks to some clever weight-reduction technologies, and improved aerodynamics. Unfortunately, Suzuki did not disclose any of the new engine's specifications.


Suzuki Offered today a preview of G70 Their new concept, the which will have its European premiere at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks. The concept was originally premiered at the 2011 Tokyo auto show, under the name REGINA.


We'll have more information on the Suzuki G70 at the time of the Geneva motor show. Apart from the G70, Suzuki will also display in Geneva the new Swift Range Extender. The Suzuki Swift Range Extender comes with an electric motor, the which offers a 30 km autonomy, and an engine-driven generator.


Occupying prime real estate on Suzuki's Geneva show stand is the automaker's G70 concept. If the Uniquely styled G70 seems a familiar, that's Because It is - the show car debuted under the Regina nameplate at the recent Tokyo Motor Show.


Suzuki also designed the G70 to be as aerodynamic as possible, with the car's drag coefficient at least 10 percent lower than the company's current A-segment model. The car makes use of Suzuki's latest CVT and also features engine stop-start and regenerative braking functions.
