Bummer: Sitting on the Trunk of a Car that's About to Leave is a Very Bad Idea [Video]

Common sense says that you shouldn't lie down and get cozy on a vehicle's trunk when the driver is inside and the engine is running, but some people just need to learn their lesson the hard way.

We can't say for sure if the driver saw the young lady flashing her legs on the Lada's trunk or not, but fact is that he sped off with the laws of physics coming into play from then on.

After her hard encounter with the road, we believe this woman will think twice before she throws herself on a trunk again…

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

To all our readers, we would like to take the time to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from everyone here at Carscoop!

Being a joyous time of celebration, some folks may overindulge during the holidays, in which case we hope that you'll forget about driving altogether and have someone else deliver you back home.

We'll be taking some time off to spend the day with our families and friends, but not without programming some select news for today and tomorrow before we return to our normal daily schedule on Tuesday, December 27, as we get ready for the next round of car shows starting with the Detroit Auto Show in the second week of January.

Vroomy wishes to all, and hope you enjoy the Santa Claus videos after the jump!

Tis the Time to Watch Out: Cool Timepieces for the Auto Enthusiast

A red and white McLaren and a bright yellow-helmeted driver behind the wheel storming down the track is one of the images that defined the 1980’s-era of Formula 1.

The driver was, of course, the late Ayrton Senna. And the watch he wore was always a TAG Heuer, something that made many young fans of the most charismatic driver the world has ever seen yearn for one.

The Swiss brand continues its partnership with the Woking-based F1 team, making sure that Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button flash their timepieces at every opportunity.

On the other hand, the most famous, if not really the most exclusive or expensive watchmaker in the world, Rolex, has linked its name not only with the late actor, racing driver and Indycar team owner Paul Newman, but also sponsors and big names, many major events after its most coveted model, the Daytona chronograph.

Road Rage: Pedestrian Teaches Tough Guy a Lesson

Some people just have it in their blood to get into fights and escalate a simple situation into something far more violent. And we can see this quite often on the road.

Unfortunately for some, fortunately for others, there's a big difference between being “willing” to fight, and “winning” a fight.

See what happened to this "macho" passenger who got angry at a pedestrian who tried to cross the road while the light was green in the video after the jump.

Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Vroom! Scuderia Ferrari Sends Christmas Greetings

It’s the most wonderful time of the year - a year which certainly does not rank among those that the Scuderia Ferrari and its tifosi will consider worthy of the Prancing Horse’s history in Formula 1, having scored only one win and finishing third in the championship.

However, the people from Ferrari’s racing division seem to have been touched by the Christmas spirit, so they put their disappointment aside and had a little fun at work.

A Streetcar Named Desire: Mazda MX-5 Miata with a Morning Glory [Video]

Someone just gave a new meaning to the saying that "some men see their car as an extension of their male reproductive organ while others behave as if it's a replacement for it".

Hiding somewhere between a pair of oversized balls at the rear end and the glans (see, we did our medical homework before posting this story) on the tip of the car, is a first generation Mazda MX-5 / Miata roadster.

The hows and whys behind the erection of this mobile tally whacker remain elusive, though Youtube poster, Allandiablo, says it was being filmed at the time and that it could be for an upcoming episode of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory TV show on MTV.

Video: Well, That Looks Like a Perfectly Safe Snow Sport...

If you have a death wish, then this is the winter snow sport for you. All you need is a ski tube, a rope and a fiend with a car. Just remember to leave any common sense you have at home before you jump into the tube.

Do we really need to tell you kids “Don't try this at home?” Well, guess we should... And after our safety message, we direct you to the video placed right after the break.

BMW M5's Project Leader Says V8 has Few Things in Common with X5M and X6M Engine

Like its predecessors, the new 2013 BMW M5, which received its public debut at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show, is based on the regular 5-Series sedan with some subtle exterior modifications but a whole lot of changes under the skin.

Now, some may think that BMW's M Gmbh performance division simply took a 5-Series sedan, beefed it up a bit and shoehorned the twin-turbo V8 found in the X5 M and X6 M SUVs under it's hood. However, Maximillian Ahme, the man that led the M5's development team, says that's not the case.

In an interview with the BMW M magazine, Ahme shed some light on the development and the unique features of the latest M5 super saloon.

Indian Speed Bumps weren't Made for the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [Videos]

As one of the most powerful and fastest production supercars in the world, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 becomes the star attraction wherever it goes. And India is no exception.

One of the 300 Veyron coupes that Bugatti built over the years was spotted at the Shamshabad international airport in Hyderabad, which is one of the largest and most populous cities in India.

As you can see in the videos that follow, even though the Veyron has a height adjustable suspension, riding over Shamshabad's humongous speed bumps is easier said than done. Mind you, no Veyron was hurt during the filming of the video clips…
