Volkswagen ET - In order to answer the needs of customers who need a vehicle that can contain many items, manufacturer Volkswagen (VW) made a breakthrough by creating ET! the concept. This van-based vehicles in addition to functioning as a means of transportation also serves as a logistics vehicle.
As reported by Worldcarfans, this concept vehicle can be moved thanks to four electric motors embedded in each of its legs. Try different designs presented this van. Side door can be shifted from the front to the middle of the cabin so that the space to put things more freely.
"ET! Is a means of transportation that fully utilize the power which the systematic such as E-mobility specifically used in the commercial area," explains Dr. Rudolf Krebs, Group Manager for Electric Traction Volkswagen AG.
Amazingly ET! concept has a feature that allows automatic driving the moving van to follow the instructions to the owner. Such a feature is called "Follow me and Come to me". Unfortunately there has been no official statement when this concept vehicle will enter production phase.
