New Mercedes-Benz SL reportedly revised Mercedes-Benz before it is marketed. It was expressed that the manufacturer is based in Stuttgart. Bodyshell (body shell) from the Roadster is made of aluminum so that 110 kg lighter than previous models. Reportedly, overall, the weight of the car will be 140 kg lighter than its predecessor.
This is the first time Mercedes-Benz applying the bodyshell of the aluminum material for big cars. Only a few components that use materials such as non-aluminum rear panel using a lightweight magnesium.
MAGIC VISION CONTROL will be one of the features that enrich the New SL. MAGIC VISION CONTROL system is a washer / wipers windshield. The system is claimed to be very efficient because the water out of the glass rod washer. So you will not see the spray of water into the glass from the hood. With this system the glass becomes more clear.
New SL system is also equipped FrontBass. These systems utilize the free space within the structure of aluminum on the front foot as a resonance chamber bass loudspeaker. The results present new SL crystal clear bass sound that makes us to be like in a concert hall. New SL will most likely be marketed in 2012.
